Back in 2020, during the peak of the pandemic, Abhishek was promoting his web series Breathe: Into the Shadows. While he was keeping his fans updated, a troll jumped in with a nasty and personal comment. The troll wrote:
“Your father admitted in hospital… Ab kiske bharose baith ke khaoge?”
It was a low blow, referring to his legendary father Amitabh Bachchan’s hospitalization due to COVID-19. But instead of losing his cool, Abhishek delivered a response that was as graceful as it was savage. He calmly replied:
“Filhaal toh let ke kha rahe hain dono saath aspatal mein.”
No shouting, no anger — just a subtle reminder that he and his father were facing the same battle together.
Surprisingly, the troll softened their tone after that. They responded with:
“Get well soon sir… Har kisi ki kismat me let ke khana kaha…”
Abhishek didn’t hold any grudge. He replied with nothing but warmth:
