India: 23 year old boy dupes 700 young girls, he earned lakhs

A Delhi boy laid such a trap through social media that made about 700 girls his victims. This case is shocking. He trapped hundreds of girls in his trap with the help of dating apps and a virtual international mobile number and blackmailed them. The accused is in police custody and an investigation is going on.

According to sources, the accused is 23 years old, works in a Noida company and lives with his family in a school block in East Delhi. The accused has bought an international virtual number for 2 years and calls himself a foreign freelance model through which he traps girls. The accused targets girls aged 18 to 30 years.

The accused starts befriending girls on Bumble, Snapchat, and other dating apps by introducing himself as a freelance model living in America. He puts a picture of a Brazilian model in his profile and claims that he has come to India for a project. He gradually deepens his friendship with the girls and then asks for private pictures or videos. If any girl fell for his words and shared the pictures, he would extort money from them by threatening to make them viral.

This case came to light on 13 December 2024, when a student of Delhi University lodged a complaint in the cyber police station. She reveals that she had befriended a man on an online dating platform who had introduced himself as an American model. The accused gradually trapped the student in his words and then obtained personal pictures and videos from her. Later, the accused started demanding money by threatening to make the same pictures viral. Out of fear, the student sent money, but the accused’s demand kept increasing.

After the student’s complaint, the police started an investigation. On the basis of technical evidence, the accused was identified as Tushar Bisht, who lived in the school block of East Delhi. The police took immediate action and arrested the accused. During interrogation, it was found that Tushar had created fake profiles on several dating apps using a virtual international mobile number for the last two years. He had posted fake stories and pictures to show his identity as real.

Tushar had chatted with around 700 girls on Bumble, Snapchat, and WhatsApp. He obtained photos and videos from more than 500 girls, blackmailed many of them and extorted money from them. Photos, videos, and more than 60 WhatsApp chat records of many girls were recovered from the accused’s mobile. The police have also recovered 13 credit cards, data of victims, and virtual international mobile numbers from the accused’s possession.
