Due to the ostentation and pomp of a wedding ceremony in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a major accident was averted. This incident happened when a young man burst fireworks from the sunroof of his luxury car, causing it to catch fire. The people sitting in the car somehow managed to escape and save their lives. The car was completely burnt to ashes. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.
According to sources, during the wedding procession in Saharanpur village, the celebrating youths burst fireworks from the sunroof of the car. The fireworks caused the car to catch fire, and two youths got trapped in the burning car. The groom’s brother wrapped a jacket around his mouth and saved both the youths by pulling them out of the car. The injured were admitted to CHC.
Such incidents of ostentation have now become common in wedding ceremonies. Sometimes, waving a sword and a gun in the procession and sometimes being careless with fireworks shows that people are putting their lives and others’ lives in danger to impress others.
Such negligence on a happy occasion like marriage can not only cause loss of life and property but can also turn the happiness of this day into sorrow. It would be better if people took care of their own and others’ safety and avoided such dangerous acts.
