Emotional, Husband applies Sindoor right before her death in Hospital

A heart-touching incident has come to light from Indore. The husband is lying injured on the hospital bed-filled sindoor of his brain-dead wife. The wife’s body may have become mortal but before leaving she has given a new life to 3 people. The family members have donated her organs (kidneys and eyes).

According to sources, the husband and wife were returning home after celebrating Bhai Dauj when they met a road accident in which both of them got badly injured. The husband and wife injured in the accident were admitted to the hospital, but the wife died during treatment. The condition of the husband who was a victim of the road accident was such that he was not able to turn back and see his wife’s face properly at the last moment.

In this painful incident, a scene that made everyone emotional came to light. Before bidding a final goodbye, the husband in his injured state filled the sindoor with his dead wife’s hair seeing as the environment in the hospital became emotional.

The family decided to donate the woman’s organs, including both her kidneys and eyes. Her kidneys were successfully transplanted to patients in two separate hospitals. Following the family’s wishes, two green corridors were established in Indore on Friday. One corridor facilitated the transport from CHL Hospital to Rajshree Apollo; the other led to Eminent Hospital, where both kidneys were transplanted to waiting recipients.

Eyes were given to Shankara Eye Hospital. The husband and daughter said that donating organs will give life to someone, there can be no better work than this. Manisha Rathore’s body was taken to Shajapur. Here, the wife’s funeral procession was taken out on a chariot from Bhupendra’s private residence to Muktidham. Poster posters were also placed in the entire district and on the chariot to raise awareness of organ donation. The emotional farewell, with her husband fulfilling a final ritual despite his injuries, has left an indelible mark on all who witnessed it.
