In good news for Chattisgarh, the state Chief Minister Raman Singh has launched the “Manrega Mazdoor Tiffin Yojna” on Friday. He emphasised that labourers in the state will be provided with high-quality food under this scheme, in what is indeed a great step. CM Raman Singh further said that more than 10 lakh labourers will get tiffin under the new scheme.
He added that the government has chipped in with many good schemes for the labourers and one among them is “Tiffin Yojana” which will benefit lakhs of labourers.
“The government has come forward with many beneficial schemes for the labourers. One among them is Tiffin Yojana that comes under Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Rozgar Guarantee Yojana in which around 10,80,000 labourers will be given tiffins in a month,” he said.
“The labourers in Chhattisgarh will be given healthy food through Manrega Mazdoor Tiffin Yojna,” he added. Speaking at the inauguration event, Raman Singh said that his government’s vision is to enhance the lives of economically backward people and as many as efforts are being made to turn the chapters of villagers. The Chief Minister also distributed free tiffin boxes to some labourers.
