Radio Mirchi’s famous RJ Sayema was trolled for her double standards on the Israel-Iran dispute. Sayema is being trolled widely on social media, and the reason for this is her contradictory statements on the Israel-Iran dispute.
When Iran attacked Israel with 100 ballistic missiles during the ongoing war between Iran and Israel, Sayema shared a couplet through a Twitter post, “Hum aman chahte hain magar Zulm ke khilaf agar jung laazmi hai to fir jung hi sahi.” This rhyme became very popular among her listeners, and many people saw it as a support for Sayema’s warlike character.
However, when Israel announced preparations for a counter-attack a few minutes later and made it clear that it would not spare Iran, Sayema changed her opinion and started advocating peace and a ceasefire. She shared another post in which she wrote, “All the world powers must put pressure on Israel to ceasefire! This can’t go on! War is destructive for everyone. And this one is on Israel.”
Senior journalist Ashok Shrivastava, seeing Sayema’s rapidly changed mindset, tweeted, “Sayema of Radio Mirchi should play this song today in old jeans on public demand “Jab bhi ji chahe nayi duniya basa lete hain log ek chehra pe kaye chehra lage lete hain log” This song perfectly fits Sayema’s character.”
This rapidly changed attitude surprised people. Users on social media started criticizing Sayema, and many types of reactions were seen in Sayema’s post.
A user wrote, “She has talked about peace with 100 missiles, I hope Israel also returns such peace to Iran.”
Another user writes, “So Iran attacked Israel but Israel can’t retaliate wow what a piece of shit you are.”
Another user writes, “NO, this is on YOUR brothers from Hamas who started it last October. But don’t you worry, no matter Hamas, Hezbollah, or who started it, Israel will end it!”
Another user writes, “Now she is balancing after the dancing of seeing Israel on its back.”
