Till now, 16 IPL seasons have ended and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team is the most successful IPL team, having won the tournament five times along with Mumbai Indians (MI).

IPL Winner 2010: In 2010, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings to their first IPL victory, supported by players like Suresh Raina, Matthew Hayden, Albie Morkel, and Muralitharan. Raina’s consistent batting was crucial, securing their triumph after narrowly missing out in the inaugural season.
IPL Winner 2011: In 2011, Chennai Super Kings made history by becoming the first IPL team to win two consecutive finals. Led by Michael Hussey, aka Mr. Cricket, CSK successfully defended their title against RCB, with their strong batting unit playing pivotal roles throughout the tournament.
IPL Winner 2012: Kolkata Knight Riders defeated last year’s champions Chennai Super Kings in the final. KKR batsmen took up the challenging task of chasing 190 runs in the final, in which Bisla played a key role by playing a brilliant inning of 89 runs in 48 balls.
IPL Winner 2013: Hitman, Rohit Sharma leads Mumbai Indians to their first win in IPL. MI did this by defeating Chennai Super Kings in the 2013 IPL final. Kieron Pollard, Lasith Malinga, and Mitchell Johnson were steadfast fixtures in the team’s starting lineup.
IPL Winners 2014: 2014 Kolkata Knight Riders clinched their second IPL title, joining an elite group. Manish Pandey emerged as the hero, smashing a stunning 94 off 50 balls to guide KKR to victory in the final, chasing down a challenging target of 199.
IPL Winners 2015: Mumbai Indians became the third team after CSK and KKR to win the title more than once this season. Again, Mumbai Indians’ better balance helped them win the trophy. Simmons, Rohit Sharma, Ambati Rayudu, and Kieron Pollard lead the batting unit.
IPL Winner 2016: Sunrisers Hyderabad team was successful in winning the final against Royal Challengers Bangalore by just 8 runs. David Warner led the team to victory in the season as captain. However, the Virat Kohli-AB de Villiers partnership played a vital role in RCB’s matches throughout the season.
IPL Winner 2017: Mumbai Indians became the first team in IPL history to win the title twice. He got his first win in 2013 and second in 2015. Mumbai Indians won the final against Rising Pune Supergiants by just one run. Rohit Sharma showed an amazing performance as the captain of Mumbai Indians.
IPL Winners 2018: Chennai Super Kings became the second team to win more than two IPL trophies. Experienced Ambati Rayudu and Shane Watson were the backbone of this team’s batting. Like always, Dhoni played the role of an excellent finisher this time.

IPL Winner 2020: In 2020, Mumbai Indians clinched their fifth IPL title, defeating Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets in the final. They also received the Paytm FairPlay Award.
IPL Winner 2021: In the climax of IPL-2021, Chennai Super Kings clinched their fourth title by overpowering Kolkata Knight Riders. Despite losing the toss and being sent into batting, Chennai put up a formidable score of 192 runs while losing only 3 wickets.
IPL 2022 Winner: Tata The final match of IPL 2022 was played between Gujarat Titans (GT) vs Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Gujarat Titans won the final match of IPL 2022 by 7 wickets. Jos Buttler was the leading run-scorer in Tata IPL 2022.
IPL 2023 Winner: Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final of IPL 2023 in a rain-affected match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Chasing a mammoth target of 215 against GT, CSK made a successful run chase with four runs on the board in the first over and just three balls after the match was stopped due to rain.
