The parade starts around 10.30 am on 26 January and continues till noon. It showcases the nation’s diverse culture, military prowess, and achievements. Chief Guest of Republic Day 2024:
India annually invites a foreign dignitary as the chief guest for Republic Day celebrations, symbolizing diplomatic ties. In 2024, French President Emmanuel Macron will be the chief guest. He arrives at Jaipur airport on January 25, touring Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. A meeting with PM Narendra Modi in Jaipur is scheduled, highlighting the significance of diplomatic relations in selecting the guest of honor.
