A girl named Sultanah, whose name has now been changed to Surbhi, was given this name by Pandit Dheeraj Shastri from Baba Bhagwadham. According to him, she had never met Baba Bhageshwar Dham, whom she considers her brother, before.
She first met him in Rajpur, where she had made a request. However, she was a little upset because her request was not fulfilled. Then she gathered the courage and decided to meet him. In the meantime, she narrated her story to some policemen, who informed Baba’s devotees about it. After that, Baba called her to the stage and tied rakhi, and made her a sister.
Surbhi mentioned that she had a devotion to Thakurji since childhood. She considers Banke Bihari Ji her favorite and also visits Vrindavan and Mathura. Despite being from the Muslim faith, Surbhi used to observe fasting during Janmashtami. Due to this, she had to face many difficulties. She mentioned that due to all these things, she had to face physical abuse, verbal insults, and discrimination. People often doubted her faith because she didn’t offer prayers or observe fasts.
Surbhi didn’t like the Muslim faith from childhood. She used to wake up late during Ramadan so that she wouldn’t have to fast. For the past 8-10 years, she had completely embraced the Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism). She had a great interest in watching TV serials such as Ramayana, Shri Krishna, and Mahabharata.
After adopting Hinduism, Surbhi has no regrets. She believes that besides Hinduism, there is no other religion that worships girls. She feels that this change has been good for her, and she has encountered people who touch her feet, call her Sitaram, consider her as their sister, or even as their guru-mother. She changed her contact number and severed all her old relationships. Surbhi wanted to sing, so she launched a song on YouTube. She mentioned that she didn’t spend even a single rupee to record the song; it was made for free with the blessings of Thakur Ji.
Surbhi says, “Look, in a Hindu nation, Hindus have the best thing, which is that they accept all religions. That’s why we wholeheartedly want a Hindu nation, meaning 100% Hindu, and we are ready to sacrifice our lives for it, even with my brother.”
