Raihan Vadra, the son of Priyanka Gandhi, has given answers to several important questions in an exclusive interview with TV9 Bharatvarsh. The Gandhi family holds special significance in Indian politics, and their presence is associated with the Congress party.
This family has provided leadership to the country through three Prime Ministers – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi. However, since the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi, no member of this family has been seen as the Prime Minister.
Now Rahul Gandhi, who is Rajiv Gandhi’s son and a Member of Parliament for the Congress party, has emerged as the main candidate for the Congress party. However, amidst all these developments, today we will talk about Priyanka Gandhi’s son, Raihan Vadra.
TV9 Bharatvarsh conducted an exclusive interview with Raihan Vadra at the Delhi Bikaner House where an exhibition is organized. Raihan has an interest in photography. During the exhibition, he showcases his art and talks about it. When asked about entering politics, he replied, “I have no plans to enter politics yet.” He further said, “Politics has become very bitter these days. There is animosity between politicians and even among their supporters. If people come together by recognizing each other’s identity, then this bitterness in politics will decrease.”
Raihan was also asked about the thoughts of his family members regarding his photography. Raihan Vadra said, “Uncle Rahul Gandhi gives me the most distinct advice for my work. I have learned a lot from Uncle Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ (India Connect Journey), and glimpses of that journey will be seen in my next exhibition.”
Raihan claimed that not all individuals in the country have the enthusiasm to make choices like him. I can be considered fortunate, but being born into the Gandhi-Nehru family is not my independent choice. He mentioned that I am closest to my sister, and my sister Miraya Vadra is not interested in politics; she is a basketball player. Similarly, my passion is photography, and I want to create my own identity through it.
