It is indeed a proud moment for India as the country’s sprinter made the entire nation proud by surpassing his previous own 400m national record at the Cena Noveho Mesta nad Metuji event on Saturday in Prague, Czech Republic.
The 23-year-old sprinter, identified as, Muhammad Anas, came through with flying colours when he clinched the gold after he clocked at 45.24 seconds in the tournament to break his own record of 45.31 seconds which he had set during Common Wealth Games 2018 at Gold Coast, Queensland.
The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) President, Adille J. Sumariwalla congratulated him for achieving the milestone as he set a new Indian record, that is one to remember, relish and rejoice.

But why do we fail to appreciate the real heroes? Why there is no proper media coverage of him? He accomplished something great and made India proud and he deserved to be in the headlines for all the right reasons. Please keep on sharing his story and make him famous.
