The spectacular FIFA World Cup tourney 2018 comes to a close now and the footballing fraternity saw that France won the competition in a sensational fashion by beating Croatia 4-2. It was certainly an unforgettable day for France and it’s supporters.
Credits go to Croatia as well as they reached the finals for the first time in history. France won the World Cup but Croatia won our hearts by playing some beautiful football throughout the tournament. Well, both the teams gave absolutely everything to outsmart each other and in the end, the better team convincingly won the contest without any sort of tensions.
What’s more interesting is the fact that France never lost a match in this World Cup, which goes to show their sheer dominance. France previously won the World Cup in 1998 and they script history today. Two World Cups to add in their trophy cabinet is something amazing.
Their fans must be blissfully pleased with the way their players turned up in all the matches particularly after team’s failure in UEFA 2016 Euros against Portugal. FIFA World Cup 2018 has by far been one heck of a mega event with a full of twists and turns in every snippet of the footballing action.
Congratulations, France on becoming World Champions. Well deserved. Sports teaches so much to us and Croatia taught us perseverance and played with such heart and determination and should be very proud of themselves
