Namrata Shirodkar is an Indian actress and ex-model. She is well-known for her work in Bollywood films. It is worth mentioning here that she won the Femina Miss India title in 1993. She represented India in the Miss Universe pageant and ended up in sixth place.
Moreover, she also represented India in the Miss Asia Pacific contest and was preferred as the first runner-up. She is well-known for her works in movies like Kachche Dhaage (1999), Ezhupunna Tharakan (1999), Vaastav: The Reality (1999) and Pukar (2000). She acted so well that she was nominated for the IIFA Best Supporting Actress Award.
Namrata also acted in movies Astitva (2000), Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (2002), LOC Kargil (2003), and the crossover cinema Bride and Prejudice (2004), which turned out to be successful overseas, especially in the UK.
In 2000, she met Telugu actor Mahesh Babu on the sets of their movie Vamsi. They started dating shortly after the filming was finished. She married Mahesh Babu in 2005. The power couple are blessed with two children, a son and a daughter.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar launched a scathing attack on a troll who asked if she is battling depression after posting a no-make-up picture. The comment caught the attention of Namrata and the latter decided to school him online.
“Namarta, why don’t you put some make-up. Are you suffering with… depression,” a user wrote. To which, the former Miss India replied, “You might love women with make-up… maybe you should follow someone who is always made up and suits your criteria! You are not going to find it on this page!! So maybe you should get off it… sincere request.”
