“How important money is to you?” Mukesh and Neeta Ambani answer the question

Mukesh and Nita Ambani are the richest couple not only in India but also in Asia. The beautiful couple is one of the most talked couples in the country.

About 2 months ago, Mukesh Ambani took the world by surprise after surpassing the richest man in Europe, Bernard Arnault to become the fourth wealthiest person in the world.

The massive net worth of Mr. Ambani has hiked to $80.6 billion, making him the only Asian tycoon in the exclusive club of the world’s top 5 richest people. The other 3 persons ahead of Mukesh Ambani, owner of Reliance Industries Ltd are Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Despite being the fourth-richest man in the world, Mukesh Ambani is also one of the most humble and simplest persons one would come across.

To a question what money means to him, Mukesh Ambani said “nothing”. “Money means nothing to me really. My father used to always tell me that if you start anything just to make money, then, in his own words, `you are a fool,’ because you will not be good at anything else and also not make money.

“Instead if you start with a purpose…you want to do what nobody else has done, then money is the byproduct but that byproduct should never be important,” he said. “You should clearly know what you want to do, in what you want to be the best, and what you are passionate about. “If you keep dreaming again and again you will convert those dreams into passion. And if you are passionate about something that will define your purpose,” he said.
