A video of a vegetable seller has gone viral on social media like wildfire. In the video, a woman can be seen protesting against the municipal corporation. The woman has been identified as Raisa Ansari, who is from Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
It has been learnt that the fruit seller Ansari is a PHD Degree Holder. She grabbed the Internet’s attention after she protested in fluent English against the municipal authorities in Indore.
It all started when the municipal officers were removing roadside vegetable carts including that of Raisa which triggered her into a protest. Ansari has alleged that municipal officers in the area were harassing the vegetable sellers and not letting them sell vegetables and fruits.
Rasia made allegations against municipal officers for being harassed. In the video, she can be heard stating, “At times, one side of the market is closed, the second one is shut by the administration; and there are hardly any buyers. What we are supposed to feed our families. I am selling fruits and vegetables here. People standing here are my family and friends. There are more than 20 members in the family. How will they survive? How they will earn? There is no rush on the stall but still, these officials keep telling us to run away.”

PhD holder Raisa Ansari is now selling vegetables to make ends meet. Currently, Ansari is jobless and is forced to sell fruits on the street to earn a livelihood. As soon as the video was shared, it went viral on social media in no time. Many social media users started commenting on the video.
