Today, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev is a brand in himself and needs no introduction. His consistent efforts and strong will to revive Yoga and India’s culture have been very effective and immensely inspiring.
He runs Patanjali and is contributing passionately to develop and deliver Swadeshi products to Indians. He is also very passionate about training lots of people about Yoga and its benefits. He is keen to develop a healthy Indian society. As a result, he has millions of followers all across the world.
On Tuesday, 23rd June, Baba Ramdev launched an Ayurvedic medicine called ‘Coronil’ to put an end to the massively disruptive widespread disease ‘Corona’. It has been tested on 100 patients and has successfully cured all of them, some within 3 days of trial, and all within a week.
The whole world is in a state of shock after the novel coronavirus outbreak impacted lakhs of people’s lives. So far, 4,80,432 people have passed away linked to Covid-19 and 9,384,626 people were affected by the virus infection. Thankfully, 5,072,342 people have recovered from the coronavirus pandemic.
India, which is one of the worst-hit countries, has 4,57,656 confirmed cases of coronavirus where 2,59,143 people have recovered from the disease and death toll stands at 14,505.
According to Yoga guru Ramdev, the efforts to prepare an Ayurvedic cure for COVID-19 had started since the start of the disease in India. The clinical trials were done with permission for the Government.
However, the advertisements and marketing of any new drug for a severe disease is bounded by some laws and hence has been objected by the Ayush Mantralaya. Patanjali taking immediate actions to fulfil the requirements, has sent all the relevant documents related to ‘Coronil’ and its trial to the Mantralaya. This has also been confirmed by Swami Balakrishna via twitter.
It is still too early to say how much relief will ‘Coronil’ bring to our lives but Baba Ramdev has several competitors and adversaries who keep trying to find loopholes and he knows this well. Hence, it is highly unlikely that he would launch a product without sufficient trials and proper results.
Right now, lots of trials with huge budgets are going on all across the world to create vaccines for Corona. At such a time, if successful, ‘Coronil’ can boost the image of India, Ayurveda, and Patanjali tremendously.
