West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has been emotionally attached with Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. He has been plying his trade for the yellow army for many years now and has also been an integral part of CSK history. On most occasions, DJ Bravo has been the go-to man in crunch situations of the game.
Bravo who earned the trust of MS Dhoni during the passage of play has now come up with something special for his caption which is a new song.
Bravo is known for singing ‘Champion’ song which topped the charts as it became the anthem of the T20 World Cup tournament as well. He has also shared a glimpse of his upcoming song which is a rich tribute to legendary wicketkeeper-batsman and CSK legend Dhoni.
Three-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings took to Twitter to announce the news. “Champion @DJBravo47’s next song is for ‘his brudah, his brudah from anodah muddah’ – @msdhoni No.7!” CSK wrote in their caption while teasing Bravo’s new song.
“This is a sample of my song, I am working for my brother. My brother from another brother,” Bravo said.
“MS Dhoni. MS Dhoni, No. 7. MS Dhoni, No. 7. All of Ranchi, shouting Dhoni. All of India, shouting Mahi. All of Chennai, shouting Thala. MS Dhoni is a world beater,” Bravo recited.
Previously this week, Dwayne Bravo said MS Dhoni trusts him a lot at the death overs for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Bravo, during an Instagram live chat with Chennai Super Kings, had thanked Dhoni and head coach Stephen Fleming for the trust they have in him.
“I am trusted by the captain MS a lot, and the coach Stephen Fleming. They allow me to be myself,” Bravo said.
