Taj Mahal is the ultimate pride of India and it is regarded as one of the most recognized and attractive tourist spots in the world. India’s historical monument is visited by millions of inland and foreign tourists.
However, Rangoli Chandel’s perception of the Taj Mahal is quite different. Rangoli Chandel, sister of Kangana Ranaut, is known for bashing all the Bollywood biggies. She took to her Twitter to express her opinion,
She wrote, “not every Indian is proud of Taj Mahal, a grave can never be a symbol of love, we are forced to accept it as a wonder but it’s creepy as hell especially when we know how she suffered in her lifetime how the artists who made it were tortured it’s creepy”.
However, the tweet did not go well with several social media users who took a dig at Chandel and slammed her for making such ‘outrageous’ statements. Here are some reactions by users.
“Nobody is telling you to accept it as a symbol of love”, “Your opinion does not matter, this has been written in history”, were some of the remarks that were left on the post.
In yet another tweet, she went on to say how one should not blindly follow things written in the book, citing the example of Lord Ram and Sita’s life. She wrote, “Hum yeh nahin keh sakte …. kyunki books mein likha hai symbol of love hai toh hai”, read an excerpt from her post.
However, this is not the first time Chandel has grabbed headlines for her controversial remarks as such. Earlier, Rangoli Chandel lashed out at Anurag Kashyap for making fun of Modi’s call of lighting diyas.
