Amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Bollywood actress Raveena Tondon has surfaced a video on social media in which she can be seen cleaning her seat in the train.
Raveena took to her Instagram to share the video. In the video, she seems to be very cautious towards COVID-19 disease. She is seen in the video maintaining a proper level of hygiene. It has been learnt that the actress had no choice but to travel for an important project but she took all the necessary precautions. She was wearing a mask, while wiping her seat with a wet cloth and sanitizers.
She gave a message through her video that everyone should wear a mask and use sanitizer, avoid going outside if not necessary. When Raveena was asked about singer Kanika Kapoor who has been arrested for hiding travel information, she said, “There are very contrary reports that are coming around, so one can’t say what her situation was. Whether people checked her or did she really lie about not getting a fever?”
Raveena urged people to stay at home in this hour of crisis. She said, “People need to be aware. Was Kanika aware or wasn’t she? These are questions only she can answer. But, in these times, people need to be really responsible. You need to know that even if you are young and your immunity is strong, you can be passing it on to someone senior, whose immunity is not as strong. Even if you don’t get attacked by the virus, you could be transmitting it to someone else. So be responsible.”
She further said, “We are citizens and it is equally our responsibility. We can’t always blame the government. It should be your civic sense and duty.”
She captioned the video saying, “Disinfecting the cabin with wet wipes, sanitiser, before the wheels roll and we get comfy!Better to be safe than sorry. Travel only if very necessary and please take precautions and safety of oneself and the others around you is paramount .#throwback #lastweek, off to a days assignment. Skeletal crew and closed door shoot luckily to a town with no coronacases reported yet. Back home to self-isolate and quarantine at least until 31st March . #throwback.”
