By far, the novel coronavirus outbreak has spread more than 80 countries across the world ever since it was detected. The deadly coronavirus has killed at least 3,200 lives and over 95,000 have been infected with it – majority of them in China.
As many as 29 cases have been confirmed in India so far. Till now, the deadly coronavirus has spread in many parts of India including Delhi, Agra, Bihar, Jaipur bringing the total number of people who have been infected to 29. However, Doctors have acknowledged that there is no treatment or vaccine available yet, but authorities are trying their best to bring the epidemic disease under control by isolating people who have been infected with the virus.
The dangerous virus has entered several countries including Iran, Italy, Japan, and South Korea and many others. The outbreak is having dire consequences for the global economy and the stock market.
The first confirmed case came to be known in Kerala when a student tested positive for COVID-19 and two other students were also tested positive for the virus after which the Kerala government declared a state-wide emergency. It should be noted that all three patients in Kerala are students who returned from China’s Wuhan city. However, all three students have recovered.
Indian girl in Dubai tests positive for coronavirus:
On the other hand, a 16-year-old Indian girl has been tested positive for the virus. According to Health officials, a new coronavirus case was detected in the girl who attended an Indian school in Dubai.
The girl tested positive for the deadly coronavirus after she came in contact with her father who was infected with the coronavirus. Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced that the Indian High School in Dubai will be shut from Thursday as the school will be sanitized to remove further scope of infection.
The coronavirus has grabbed the headlines in India after An Indian driver and 14 Italian tourists were tested positive for the virus. However, the group of Italian tourists has been kept under medical observation in an isolation ward. It is being said that infected tourists will go through further rounds of medical examination as they have shown initial symptoms of the infection. The health minister said that to date, the number of confirmed cases in the country has increased to 28.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, on the other hand, have urged people not to participate in ‘Holi milan’ celebration this year in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak.
