According to data released by Chinese tech conglomerate Tencent, over 24,000 people have lost their lives in China due to novel coronavirus outbreak. Exposing China with documents, Taiwan media reveals its report which shows that more than 24,000 people have died of Coronavirus so far. But the Chinese government claimed that the total number of deaths in the country rose to 563 and the cumulative number of confirmed cases reached 31,161. However, as per Tencent, the second largest company in China, the deadly virus has killed more than 24,000 people since it was detected in Wuhan, China.
The exact data is yet to be ascertained but one thing is clear that China is hiding its factual data from the world. The death toll and the number of infections continued to climb in China since the virus was detected in Wuhan (the epicentre of the virus), China. The Chinese government is not revealing the exact data that can show the total number of death cases from Coronavirus. If we go by the Tencent report then the actual death toll could be much higher than what has been officially reported. Tencent company shared its data on its webpage titled “Epidemic Situation Tracker”
Coronavirus has been in the news for several days because the virus has affected thousands of people in China and claimed over 500 lives. According to WHO, The deadly virus was first detected in Wuhan which is the epicentre of the virus in China. Since then, the dangerous virus has spread quickly from cities to cities in China and then it started spreading to other countries as well. The dangerous virus has been declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Amid global attention on coronavirus, India reported its first confirmed case after a Kerala student tested positive for the virus. By far, three positive cases have been reported from Kerala. After which India soon started evacuating its citizens from Wuhan, the epicentre of the deadly virus. All evacuated Indian Citizens from China have been tested negative for the virus who were kept in quarantine camps near Delhi.
The Government of China also urged its people to give up non-veg because scientists believe that eating slaughtered animals’ flesh may be the cause of the disease. The virus is believed to have spread from animals to humans. Experts believe that the dangerous virus might have originated in a market in Wuhan, China, where humans have direct contact with live animals and animal flesh. So far, many dangerous viruses have originated in animals such as the new coronavirus, SARS, bird flu, and more.
On the other hand, Thailand Scientists have discovered a cure for Coronavirus that can treat the disease in 48 hours. Doctors claim they’ve discovered a cocktail of drugs that effectively treat the dangerous Coronavirus.
