Jasprit Bumrah has by far been the best bowler for India under the tutelage of Virat Kohli. He is currently out of the Indian cricket team set-up after picking up an unfortunate injury. The team management is not willing to risk him because he is going to be an important factor in the build-up to the upcoming T20 World Cup 2020.
In the just-concluded Test series, Umesh Yadav was named as replacement of Jasprit Bumrah for the South Africa Test series and the fast bowler did complete justice to his role.
Just as when the Indian cricket fans were eagerly waiting for Bumrah’s return to international cricket, the world-class bowler was all interested to share his progress with his fans. In no time, his caption went viral on the internet.
In order to resurrect himself to gain full fitness, the 25-year-old had started training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru last week. Bumrah shared the most recent picture from his gym session on his official Instagram account. He captioned it, “Coming Soon”.
While Bumrah’s fans and cricketers were pleased to know the positive update, England woman cricketer Danielle Wyatt joined the bandwagon to give a cheeky reply.
She wrote: “Baby Weights” and then inserted a funny emoji.
Danielle Wyatt is a familiar figure on social media. Besides her scintillating batting exploits, she is known to praise cricketers on social media.
Bumrah has not been in cricketing action for a minimum stint of 2 months as he is recovering from a lower back stress fracture. After seeking much-needed inputs from medical experts in the UK, Bumrah is working hard to make a come back.
Without second thoughts, he has been India’s premier fast bowler in the past 2 years, bagging 62 wickets in 12 Tests and 103 ODI wickets in the 58 ODIs. He also has 51 T20I wickets in 42 games.
