The circle officer added: “Someone ill-advised the victim woman that her son was under the influence of evil spirit and that she must contact some ‘tantrik’ to get rid of them. She then approached maulana Zubair of a nearby mosque on July 3, 2018 and asked him for a solution. The maulana directed her to come back late in the night the same day. The victim did as she was directed.”
The officer further added, saying that night, the maulana told the victim woman head constable that her house was under the influence of evil spirit and if she doesn’t get rid of it, her son would die.
