Indian shuttler PV Sindhu is just one step closer to setting up badminton for girls after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy promised five acres of land in Visakhapatnam to PV Sindhu.
AP CM felicitated her on winning the World Championship gold as she became the first Indian shuttler to accomplish the feat.
Sports and Youth Affairs Minister M. Srinivasa Rao also told reporters that the Chief Minister had sanctioned Sindhu’s request for land.
The state government too felicitated her.
