“I think the terrorist was dropped on the spot for a fidayeen attack. He is a foreigner and we recovered a weapon from the spot. He used armour piercing bullets and that is why several CRPF men were injured,” a senior police official in southern Kashmir told ET.
“Heavy exchange of fire took place and in the initial attack, three CRPF men died, while two others who were hit by bullets were taken to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries,” a senior CRPF official was quoted as saying.
