People in Sweden are now gradually being implanted with a microchip that comprises complete details about their identity and as a result, it replaced Identity cards. Around 4,000 people are being embedded microchips under their skin. Some say this is the next big step towards technological advancement while others have their opinions saying that this is not good for health.
It has been learnt that the miniature technology will play a significant role in the future. You don’t have to carry cash, tickets, key cards, ID cards as the microchip, which is as tiny as a grain of rice bypasses every single thing.

In June 2017, SJ Rail who is the Swedish train operator announced that as many as 100 people were using microchips to pay for their travel.
