On the Poonch sector, Jammu & Kashmir, Naib Subedar Paramjit Singh sacrificed his life serving the Indian Army at the border. Saluting the great sacrifice, Yunus Khan, an IAS officer and his wife Anjum Ara, an IPS officer decided to adopt their youngest daughter Khushdeep Singh.
Many people keep barking nonsensical shit about Muslims living in India and this example should give a tight slap on the faces of many such people who think Indian Muslims don’t respect our country.
Yunus Khan and Anjum Ara are willing to bear all the expenses of Khushdeep and they ensured that the kid will stay with their family. This indeed is a great way to respect our Martyrs and we’ve seen in recent times people showing real gratitude to the sacrifices made by Jawans.
Recently, Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir decided to bear the expenses of all the Martyrs kids, who got killed in a recent firing at the borders, whereas actor Akshay Kumar too provided quite a hefty compensation, an amount which the government would never spend on our brave warriors.
“Khushdeep will continue to stay with her family. We will be paying for all her expenses and meeting her from time to time to know about her problems and solve them. If she wants to become an IAS or IPS officer or choose some other career, we are there to help,” said Miss Anjum Ara as quoted by Times of India.
Lauding the efforts of miss Anjum Ara, the Martyr’s brother Ranjit Singh said, “I simply can’t express gratitude to these kind-hearted couple. It reminds me of what the Muslim ruler of Malerkotla, Nawab Sher Mohammad Khan, had done for the youngest sahibzadas (sons) of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.”
Our Indian Army does so much for us whilst we do absolutely nothing in return. Every citizen of this country should remember a fact that they are being safe guarded by these people, who are ready to keep their lives on line at the borders. Never hesitate to support the Indian Army, that’d be an unforgivable crime.
