A heartbreaking incident that shames humanity has come to light in Greater Noida. A person tied a German Shepherd dog to a Scorpio and dragged it for about 3 kilometers. He beat it mercilessly, due to which the dog got injured. The dog’s owner arrived at the scene and took him to the hospital for treatment. A case has been registered against the accused at the police station.
According to sources, a German Shepherd dog started barking at a minor kid in Dankaur town. The boy got startled and fell on the ground. The boy informed his father about this. Angered by this, the child’s father first beat the dog with sticks and then injured it. After this, he tied it with a rope behind the Scorpio car and dragged it for 3 kilometers.
On protesting, the accused has also threatened to kill the dog owner’s family. In this regard, the victim’s side reached the police station on Thursday and complained about the accused in this regard. The victim’s family says that the accused has also threatened to kill them if they complain to the police. Due to which the family is very scared.
The injured dog was immediately taken to the veterinarian by its family members. According to the doctors, the dog has suffered serious injuries in several areas, but it is now out of danger. At present, it is being taken care of. The dog’s owner, Sudhir Indoria, told him that he has a German Shepherd dog. Like every day, he was tied with a rope at the door of the house on Wednesday night. At the same time, a neighbor’s child was passing by there. The dog started barking after seeing him. The child fell on the ground in fear. After which his father did this act.
Police station in-charge inspector Munendra Singh says that a complaint has been received from the dog owner’s family in this regard. A case has been registered against the accused, and an investigation is being conducted into the matter. Further action will be taken. Based on the complaint, Noida Police registered a case against the accused under the Animal Cruelty Act.
