Man kills 9 month pregnant wife after getting  accused of extramarital affairs

Nowadays, many shocking and painful murders related to marriage have come to the fore, due to which people’s faith in marriage is gradually decreasing. A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Visakhapatnam, where a man killed his 9-month pregnant wife. After the incident, he fabricated a story to prove it was a natural death, but the truth came out after the complaint of the victim’s family.

According to sources, Jnaneshwar and Anusha married two and a half years ago on 10 December 2022. This marriage took place against the wishes of Jnaneshwar’s parents. Jnaneshwar works with the Hindustan Scouts and Guides Organization in Visakhapatnam. The woman, nine months pregnant and due to deliver on Monday, had gone to the hospital with her husband for a routine prenatal checkup earlier that day. Although doctors advised her to be admitted immediately for delivery, the couple reportedly opted to wait until the next day.

On Monday morning, Jnaneshwar suddenly called Anusha’s relatives and friends. He said that Anusha fainted. She was immediately rushed to a hospital in Arilova, where doctors declared her dead. The victim’s family considered it an unnatural death and informed the police. The police began investigations and found that Anusha had been strangled to death.

During interrogation, Jnaneshwar confessed to his crime. He confessed to choking Anusha after they had a heated argument. He noted that Anusha suspected that Jnaneshwar was having an affair with someone else. She was harassing him over this. The police have registered a case of murder against Jnaneshwar. The police are investigating the case thoroughly. They are trying to find out the real motive behind the murder.

Under the Indian Penal Code, killing a pregnant woman is a heinous crime and attracts the harshest punishment. Several women’s organizations in Vizag and Anusha’s family have demanded strict punishment for Jnaneshwar. This brutal act has sparked outrage across the state, with people demanding justice and questioning the safety of women within marriages today.
