In the viral case, when the woman’s lawyer talked about giving alimony of Rs 6 lakh every month, the judge got angry. She said, Which woman spends Rs 6 lakh 16 thousand every month? Are you not taking advantage of the rules? The lawyer appearing on behalf of the husband opposed this and said that this is harassment.
Demanding alimony, the wife’s lawyer said that the husband should give her Rs 616,000 every month as alimony. The lawyer said that the woman has some other diseases along with knee pain. The cost of physiotherapy for this is Rs 4-5 lakh per month. Every month, Rs 60,000 is spent on food inside the house. In such a situation, she should be given a monthly alimony of Rs 616,300 from her ex-husband.
After seeing the demand and documents put forward by the lawyer, the female judge, Lalitha, said, Who spends so much? The judge commented that he does not have any other responsibility. Doesn’t he have children? The judge said that the woman’s demand is not right. The female judge also finally told the woman’s lawyer to bring a reasonable amount; otherwise, her petition would be rejected. This video went viral on social media.
Justice Lalitha acted very strictly in this entire matter. She said that “the justice system cannot be allowed to become anyone’s weapon.” She reprimanded the woman and said that the demand is not right. She also said that “not every woman is a victim and not every man is guilty. Justice is done with evidence, not with emotions.”
