Responding with grace and confidence, Tamannaah said, “You are saying milky beauty, but why did you look at a milky beauty and think she can’t be a Shiva Shakti? Your question already has the answer. Director Ashok Teja does not see beauty as something to be ashamed of or feel bad about. Glamour in a woman is to be celebrated, and we women must celebrate ourselves. Only then can we expect others to celebrate us. If we see ourselves in a certain way, nobody else can respect us.”
She further added, “Here, we have a wonderful gentleman [Ashok Teja] who does not look at women that way. He sees women as divine. And divinity can be glamorous, lethal, and powerful. A woman can be many, many things.”
