Recently, a shocking case came to light in Madhya Pradesh. Lalita Bai, a woman who was declared dead 18 months ago, suddenly returned alive and reached the police station and gave a statement of her being alive. The picture of the woman holding her photo goes viral on social media.

According to sources, a mutilated body was found in September 2023; the name was tattooed on the hand of the body, and a black string was tied to the leg, which appeared to be exactly like Lalita. Lalita’s family cremated her, thinking she was their daughter. A case of murder was registered against four accused in this case.

In this incident, Imran, Shahrukh, Sonu, and Ejaz of Bhanpura were accused and sent to jail. But after one and a half years, Lalita, who was declared dead, suddenly returned to her village, Navali. When her father saw her alive, he immediately took her to the Gandhi Sagar police station and informed the police about her being alive.

Lalita said that she had gone to Bhanpura with Shahrukh, where, after staying for two days, another Shahrukh bought her for Rs 5 lakh. After this, she stayed in Kota for one and a half years and ran away to her village as soon as she got a chance. As soon as she reached the village, she told the whole incident to her father and also showed her Aadhaar card and voter ID as proof of her being alive.

Lalita has two kids, who are very happy to see their mother after one and a half years. There is no limit to the happiness of the family members. At the same time, after the disclosure of this case, the police administration is also in a dilemma. After Lalita’s return, the police have started investigating this case again. The four people who were sent to jail on murder charges are likely to be released.

After seeing the news of this case and the viral picture of the woman on social media, users’ reactions are coming to the fore. A user writes It’s a shame that such sex trafficking is going on in our country. Why are all politicians silent on this matter?
