It’s official, Chahal and Dhanashree reach court for their final hearing

Divorce rumors of Indian cricketers Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma had been coming out for a long time. Finally, the couple has separated legally. Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma were spotted in the family court of Bandra; the family court has approved the divorce petition. He filed a petition for divorce with consent in the family court.

The couple got married in December 2020. Initially, both were well-liked by the fans, but after some time, the news of a rift in their relationship started coming out. From unfollowing on social media to mysterious posts, news of estrangement between the two came into the limelight. As of June 2022, they are living separately.

According to a media report, both in the family court said that they had been living separately for the last 18 months. When asked about the cause of being separated, Chahal and Dhanashree stated the main reason for compatibility. According to the reports, the two have decided to separate due to personal reasons, but it has not yet come from the couple’s official response.

Both Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma reached separate courts. Chahal, who was seen in a black outfit, kept the head covered with a hoodie. There were glasses on the eyes, then there was a mask on the face. Later, Dhanashree Verma also appeared, who had put on black sunglasses with a white top and blue commodities. Both did not talk to the media and went inside the courtroom without giving any statement.

As part of the settlement, Yuzvendra Chahal will pay Rs. 4.75 crore as alimony to Dhanashree Verma. The couple had cited “compatibility issues” as the reason for their split. The court waived the mandatory six-month cooling-off period. Justice Madhav Jamdar directed the Bandra Family Court of the city to decide on the couple’s divorce petition by 20 March as Chahal will not be available after March 21 due to the Indian Premier League (IPL).
