According to sources, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma have been divorced. Both have been living separately for about 18 months. The last hearing took place in Bandra Family Court on 20 February, during which Dhanashree and Yuzvendra were present. After the legal proceedings were completed, the couple decided to officially separate. That’s when the news of 60 crore alimony started.

The media should do a fact-check before reporting about this. This matter is currently in court and many misleading things are being spread.

At the same time, a member of Dhanashree’s family issued a statement and dismissed all the rumors. He said, ‘We are very saddened by the fake news being spread about alimony. I want to make one thing clear: neither such an amount was ever asked for, nor was it demanded nor offered. These are rumors which have no truth.’

He further said, ‘It is an irresponsible act to publish such information without knowing the truth, without verifying it. We urge the media to exercise restraint and check the facts before spreading misinformation. We also request them to respect everyone’s privacy.’
