Madrassas are giving training to derail Indian trains: reveals agencies

Recently, conspiracies to overturn trains have been exposed in the Jhansi and Kanpur districts of Uttar Pradesh, in which the suspicious role of madrassas has come to the fore. Recently, there has been an increase in the number of train accidents, for which questions were raised by the Indian government and the railway department. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) have obtained clues related to madrassas during the intensive investigation of these incidents.

According to sources, NIA and ATS have received information that training for overturning trains is provided in many madrassas in Jhansi and Kanpur. During this time, many investigation agencies have also received many videos of people being incited to overturn trains online from many madrassas. During the last three months, attempts were made to overturn important trains like the Sabarmati and Kalandi Express around Jhansi and Kanpur.

One day Bharat train was also pelted with stones, so the NIA ATS team has been investigating for a long time. Raids have been conducted at many places, and it has also been found that videos of many people who give daily training online have also surfaced in which they are inciting their followers to overturn trains. Along with running madrasas, they are radicalizing youth by brainwashing them online and using them in anti-national activities.

In Jhansi, a joint team of NIA and ATS raided the house of madrasa teacher Mufti Khalid Nadvi. Mufti’s laptop, his mobile phone, and his bank passbook were confiscated, and he was investigated for 18 hours. Mufti is accused of receiving foreign funding on the pretext of providing religious education to foreign students through online mediums. When the team started taking Mufti to the police line, the people there started protesting.

Amidst the protest, a person announced the mosque’s mike, and then people gathered. They started fighting against the administration; women sat down blocking the road and alleged that the officers did not find any clue after investigating the whole night, so now they are conspiring to trap them in a false case. After interrogation, Mufti was released in the morning. Eleven people were arrested for pushing and obstructing government work and a case has been registered against 100 people.
