Owaisi allegedly has illegal property of Waqf worth ₹3,000 crore

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi is facing allegations of improper acquisition of Waqf properties. Owaisi owns Waqf properties worth about Rs 3,000 crore, which are leased at nominal rent. It is claimed that the benefits of these properties are not reaching the needy, and the Waqf Act needs to be amended.

Recently, a video of senior journalist Ashok Srivastava debating on Waqf property has been seen on social media. According to senior journalist Ashok Srivastava, Asaduddin Owaisi has illegally occupied property worth about Rs 3000 crore in Hyderabad. When Srivastava raised questions against Owaisi, Owaisi supporters asked him to show Modi ji’s degree.

According to the viral video, the reality of Owaisi was exposed in which he has illegal possession of Waqf property worth Rs 3000 crore. Journalist Ashok Shrivastav ji claimed that each one will be thoroughly investigated but in the end, don’t cry that you will not show the papers this time but Owaisi supporters say, then ask Modi Ji also to show his degree.

Further in the video Shrivastav Ji replies, this is the fakeness of you people. If we talk to you about the papers, then you come to the issue of cow slaughter or sometimes Modi ji’s degree. As soon as the papers are asked for, you start running here and there. (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi who boasts about the 3000 crore Waqf land, is the one who has illegally occupied it in Hyderabad.

Amidst these allegations and counter-allegations, the debate continues over the management and use of Waqf properties. In view of the possible amendments in the Waqf Act, it will be important to see how the benefits of these properties can be passed on to the real needy and what steps can be taken for their protection. The controversy surrounding Asaduddin Owaisi and Waqf properties raises serious concerns about transparency, legal accountability, and ensuring rightful beneficiaries receive their due share amid ongoing debates.
