In love stories, cheating is common, but it is surprising if the third person who betrays your relationship is someone close to you. Recently, such a case has come to light, which has created a buzz on social media. A father convinced his son to break up with his girlfriend and marry the same girl.
According to sources, this case is from China. 63-year-old Liu Lianghe is the former chairman of the Bank of China. This is the former banker’s fourth marriage, and every time, he has chosen a younger woman. He first met his fourth wife when his son introduced her to the family as his girlfriend.
However, Liu persuaded his son to end this relationship by saying that the girl was not suitable for his family background. After that, the son broke up with her. But only after six months did he get a deep shock when he found that his father had married the same girl he had said that he did not like.
After this, Lianghe used his power to track down his son’s ex-girlfriend and sent her expensive gifts. The woman immediately accepted his marriage proposal and the two married just six months after their breakup. When Lianghe’s son learned that his ex-girlfriend had become his stepmother, he had to be hospitalized due to shock. However, Lianghe could not enjoy his marriage for long. In November 2023, he was sentenced to death for corruption.
According to other sources, when he confessed to his crime and most of the bribed property was recovered, he would be hanged two years later. Former banker Liu was accused of taking bribes of more than 121 million yuan (i.e., more than Rs 141 crore) and illegally issuing loans of more than 3.32 billion yuan (i.e., about Rs 3,735 crore).
After this, it was revealed that Liu was not only a corrupt banker; his romantic life was equally perverted. He was initially successful due to the influence of his first wife, a high-ranking official’s daughter. However, as soon as he was recognized, Liu ignored his wife and married his younger mistress. Not only this, Liu is also accused of having intimate conversations with many of his female subordinates in the office.
