But recently a case came to light in Madhya Pradesh in which an e-bike that was charging exploded. An 11-year-old girl died in this explosion.
According to sources, this incident is from Madhya Pradesh, where the e-bike was put on charging at 2 o’clock in the night and suddenly it exploded. About 6 to 7 people sleeping in the house got up in panic and, seeing the fire, started running to save their lives. An 11-year-old girl died in this explosion. 2 people, including the girl’s maternal grandfather, have been badly burnt. The goods kept in the house have also been burnt.
Family members said that they had bought the e-bike a year ago. When the battery got damaged, they gave it for repair 15 to 20 days ago. Since then, the vehicle has been in the showroom. Brought the bike home on January 3. After this, it was charged once. When it was put on charging again at night, it exploded. Regarding the whole matter, CSP Satyendra Ghanghoria says that the fire seems to have occurred due to a short circuit during charging in the scooter. All the facts are being investigated.
The explosion also woke up the neighbors. They ran to help. On the other hand, the police and fire brigade also reached the spot on information. After a lot of hard work, the fire was brought under control. It is being told that Antara had come with her mother to attend the birthday party at her maternal grandfather’s house.
This is not the first case of an e-bike blast. Earlier also, cases of explosions in many bikes have come to the fore. It has become necessary to take many precautions while using e-bikes. Do not overcharge the battery; use only the approved charger. Regularly check the condition of the battery and the charging process; charge away from children and in a safe place.
