Maulana declared Mahakumbh land as a Waqf Board property, check out details

Recently, Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, National President of All India Muslim Jamaat, has claimed that the land of the Maha Kumbh Mela area is the property of the Waqf Board. He said that about 54 bighas of land come under the Waqf Board, on which Maha Kumbh is being organized. Praising the Muslims of Prayagraj, Maulana said that they have shown a big heart and have not raised any objection to this.

After 12 years, strict security arrangements are being made for the Maha Kumbh to be held in Sangam city, Prayagraj. The Maha Kumbh is a symbol of religion, faith, Zanskar, and tradition. The National President of Muslim Jamaat Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi created a ruckus on Saturday by making a controversial statement. Maulana Razvi claimed that the land where the Maha Kumbh Mela is being organized belongs to the Waqf Board. At the same time, saints expressed sharp reactions to this.

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi has given such a controversial statement in a video post on his Instagram. He said the 55 acres of land where preparations are being made for the Maha Kumbh belong to the Vigha Waqf. Muslims showed a big heart and did not object, but on the other hand, the Akhara Parishad and other Babas are banning the entry of Muslims. This narrow-mindedness has to be given up; we have to show a big heart like Muslims.’

Furthermore, he made a major allegation and said that a large number of Muslims are also being converted in the Maha Kumbh. He also said that Muslims have also been prohibited from setting up shops and stalls in the Maha Kumbh area. This is completely wrong. Just as the Waqf is not objecting to its land, they should also allow Muslims to set up shops in the fair area. At the same time, saints have expressed their displeasure over this.

Saints and sages have retaliated against Maulana Razvi’s statement on religious conversion in Maha Kumbh. Saints and sages who came to Maha Kumbh say that Maulana has no proof that Muslims are being converted. He is just making allegations. Saints said that if he feels so, then he should bring proof of it before the world. Saints also said that this country belongs to Sanatanis; there is no other religion here.
