Recent days have been no less than a shock for the fans of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun. Actor Allu Arjun was detained from his residence amid strong security and taken to Chikkadpally police station in a police vehicle. On December 4, during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rise, a large number of fans flocked to the Sandhya Theater to get a glimpse of the actor. During the same time, a 35-year-old woman died and her eight-year-old son was injured due to a mass crowd.
After the arrest of Allu Arjun, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was questioned on this issue. He said, The law is equal for everyone. I will not interfere in this matter. Let the law do its work. This statement of Revanth Reddy has made the fans even more angry. According to him, the Chief Minister should have avoided giving such a harsh response to a big actor like Allu Arjun.
Based on the complaint lodged by the family of the deceased woman, Hyderabad Police has registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theater management under sections 105 and 118 (1) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) at the Chikkadpally police station. In response to this case, Allu Arjun’s lawyer filed a petition in the Telangana High Court seeking quashing of the FIR registered against him.
