Thousands of Hindus protest against khalistanis after Hindu temple attack

Recently, a Hindu temple was attacked in Canada, after which the Hindu community came out on the streets. A large number of Hindu community people have gathered outside the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton to protest against the attack by Khalistan supporters. Many videos of the protest went viral on social media.

A major Hindu temple was targeted in this attack, which deeply hurt the people of the Hindu community. This attack took place during the Hindu Diwali festival, and thousands of Canadian Hindus have gathered in Brampton against it. Hindus raised slogans of Khalistan Murdabad and Jai Shri Ram.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the recent attack, calling it deliberate. Canadian Hindus expressed deep grief, stating they felt hurt by the incident and came together to support the Hindu community. They highlighted the positive contributions of Hindus to Canada’s economy and society and called for justice and the rule of law to be upheld, expressing disappointment with the response from politicians and police.

Canadian Hindus say the Hindu community is feeling like second-class citizens, attacks against Hindus are increasing continuously in Canada. The authorities have failed to protect the Hindu community and assure them of security.

Canadian Hindu organization ‘Coalition of Hindus of North America’ wrote on social media platform X, ‘On Sunday, during the holy Diwali weekend, Hindu temples in Canada were attacked from coast to coast. We ask Canada to stop this Hindu phobia immediately.’

According to sources, information has also come to light about some vehicles being vandalized during the protest. It has been told that a vehicle was allegedly vandalized because it honked its horn in front of a Hindu group and tried to drive through the protesting Hindus.

Meanwhile, the Canadian police has suspended one of its officers for joining the demonstration of Khalistanis. The suspended police officer was identified as Harinder Sohi, a sergeant. A video had surfaced in which the Peel police officer was seen carrying the flag of Khalistanis during the attack on the temple.
