But recently a case came to light that may make you lose trust in online shopping, a consumer shared a screenshot in which different prices for the same suitcase on Android and iPhone on the same e-commerce application.

Platform X user Saurabh Sharma shared a post in which he shared screenshots from the e-commerce app, showing a notable price difference for iPhone and Android users. ” Difference in prices between Android and iOS apps on Flipkart app. The same Mocobara cabin suitcase is priced at ₹ 4,119 on Flipkart’s Android app while ₹ 4,799 on the iOS app,” Mr Sharma wrote while sharing the screenshot on X.

According to the pictures, a small cabin suitcase from Mocobara is priced at ₹ 4,119, with a 65% discount on Android. The price of this product is ₹ 4,799, which is a 60% discount on iPhones. Online shopping has more disadvantages than advantages. Often customers have to face various types of fraud. Sometimes the quality is poor, sometimes the product is replaced with another product. But now selling the same product at different prices on two different devices is the biggest drawback.

After seeing the viral post, consumers doing online shopping are quite surprised. Users shared many types of reactions while giving their views. A user writes, ‘It’s for all apps try on Ola/Uber / Swiggy/ Zomato/Zepto for the same query’

Another user writes, ‘Nope, I don’t think so, Apple charges 30% for only in-app purchases.’

Another user writes, ‘This is the business model of such apps, they will always show you a price based on several times you search for a product, the number of times you have discussed the product with anyone, any similar product you searched recently. I think the idea is to sell the product at max cost.
