Britisher sells Bhelpuri on streets to support his family, purely Indian style

India’s street chaat snack is quite popular, people enjoy it. But the taste of this Indian snack is not limited to India only, it is also sold on the streets of London and people there also love it. When London’s Angus Dinan chef came to India for a tour, he loved Kolkata’s famous Bhelpuri and chaat and he learned to make it.

Chef Angus Dinan formed a love for Indian street food during his travels in India, where he was especially drawn to Kolkata’s famous Jhalmuri and chaat. Captivated by their flavors, he spent time learning the authentic preparation of these dishes. Upon returning to London, he decided to set up his street food stall, bringing the vibrant taste of Indian snacks to his local area.

He has been serving the taste of India on the streets of London for 18 years. His stall is named Jhalmuri Vegan Express, and he sells Jhalmuri in Indian taste. Through his special “Jhalmuri Vegan” stall, he introduced the British people to this Indian street food. Initially, people were surprised by this new taste, but gradually it became popular.

Today his Jhalmuri is considered to be such a taste experience that takes people on a tour of India through spices and tastes. He serves customers in the old Indian serving style. With the help of the newspaper, he makes a cone in which he serves and sells Jhalmuri. People of London eat Kolkata’s famous Jhalmuri with great interest.

The video of British chef Angus Dinan is going viral on social media. In the video, Angus Dinan can be seen making Jhalmuri, he makes this famous Kolkata street snack in a completely Indian style. Many things are used to make Jhalmuri, the most important of which is crispy puffed rice.

Boiled potatoes, chopped tomatoes, onions, green chilies, and coriander are all mixed in crispy puffed rice. Many spicy spices are added to it and sweet and sour tamarind chutney is added at the end and mixed and then served in a paper cone.
