Ever since the Modi government came to power, it has been accused of not doing anything for the Muslims, but recent statistics and reports tell a different story. If these allegations had been made based on statistics and facts, it would have been a different matter, but these allegations are being made just for the sake of discussion.
Usually, Muslim leaders and secular leaders make these allegations that the Modi regime is not doing anything for the Muslims, they are being treated as second-class citizens, and even Muslims are in danger. Although necessities are required to evaluate the progress of any society, a statistical report regarding the same has come out, after which these allegations are proved wrong.
According to sources, if we look at the report of UPSC results in 2006, at that time only 3% of students were able to clear the exam, there was no significant difference in the figures of the 2016 report, with only 3.3% of students, while in 2023, about 1016 Muslim students cleared the UPSC exam, and the figure increased to 5.2%.
In 2015-16, only 23 lakh Muslim students enrolled in higher education, and in 2019-20 this figure increased to 30 lakh. Along with this, the government also provides scholarship schemes to Muslim students, of which about 70 lakh children have taken advantage so far. If the government was against Muslims, then the figures for education would have decreased, not increased.
The second basic necessity is the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for permanent houses in urban areas in which 15% of houses were given to minorities in which 13 lakh were given to only Muslims. Under the Rural Development Scheme, houses were built for 2.55 lakh Muslims.
Not only this, this government has ended the biggest problem of Muslim women, triple talaq, and freed women from triple talaq. The biggest work for Muslims is to go on Hajj, and if a Muslim woman does not have her husband, brother, or son with her, then it is like a dream for her because she cannot go.
But the Modi government talked to the Saudi government and gave women the freedom to go on Hajj alone. Along with this, the number of people going on Hajj was increased, and 18% GST was changed to 5%. Even after doing all this, only allegations have been made against the Modi government, these figures clearly show that the Modi government is not against Muslims.
