Bodyguard Ravindra Patil’s life changed, as he appeared Against Salman Khan

Recently a tweet surfaced, that Salman Khan was accused of ruining the life of his bodyguard Ravindra Patil, and also claimed that what is happening to Salman today is a punishment for his deeds. Ravindra Patil, a dedicated constable of Mumbai Police, his life changed the day he dared to testify against the famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

According to the viral post, in 2002, Salman Khan in a drunken state ran his car over 5 people sleeping on the road, killing one of them. He fled from the spot without caring to help those people, a case was filed against Salman, and Ravindra Patil himself filed an FIR against Salman.

Patil had given this statement that Salman was driving in a drunken state, he had warned him to slow down the speed of the car but Salman ignored it. And suddenly this accident happened in which 4 people were injured and one died. Patil was under immense pressure to change his statement or say that Salman was not drunk and it was a human error.

The pressure later grew so much that Patil was forced to flee Mumbai, which prevented him from attending the court proceedings. Patil vanished in 2006 when a witness was being questioned in the case. Khan’s men deftly exploited Patil’s absence by failing to show up for five consecutive court appearances, and an arrest warrant was obtained for Patil.

Because Patil failed to report for duty, his seniors at the police department fired him. After being taken from Mahabaleshwar without listening to Patil’s defense, he was sent to Arthur Road Jail together with other serious offenders. Patil disappeared once again when his family disowned him after he was freed from prison.

In 2007, he was traced to the Sewri Municipal Hospital, where he was battling drug-resistant tuberculosis. On October 4, 2007, he died alone with only one friend by his side. It is very sad that Ravindra Patil who was fighting for the truth, was treated so wrongly, his whole life was ruined.
