Arhaan Khan, who is the son of Bollywood stars Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora, is currently in the spotlight, sparking speculation about his possible entry into the film industry. The young talent, who once hosted his own chat show, Dumb Biryani, is reportedly taking time for personal development and exploring his interests.
In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Arbaaz Khan opened up about Arhaan’s future in Bollywood. He shared that while his son is still young and figuring out his path, he believes Arhaan might need a year or two before he is fully ready to take the leap into acting.
“Hopefully, he will take a year or two before he feels ready to take the plunge. I am sure he is going to be coming as an actor before he takes on anything else,” Arbaaz expressed with optimism, hinting at a bright future for Arhaan in films.
Interestingly, Arbaaz also mentioned that while he is open to launching his son in a movie, he is equally supportive if another filmmaker offers Arhaan a role first. In a past interview with India Today, Arbaaz stated, “The script can come from me or it can come from someone else… Maybe someone will have something for him before me, which would be great.” This highlights Arbaaz’s intention for Arhaan to make independent career choices, ensuring he explores the industry on his own terms.
Malaika Arora, Arhaan’s mother, has also spoken about her approach to parenting. In an interview with Grazia India, she described herself as a strict yet supportive mother who finds a balance between being a parent and a friend. “I aim to create a non-intrusive support system,” she shared, emphasizing that she encourages open communication with Arhaan. Although she considers herself fun and laid-back, she takes her role as a guiding force in her son’s life very seriously.
With such a strong support system from both parents and an openness to explore, it will be interesting to see when and how Arhaan Khan chooses to step into the world of Bollywood. For now, it seems he is taking the time to prepare, ensuring he is ready for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora were married together for 19 years before their divorce in 2017. Later on, Arbaaz married makeup artist Shura Khan in 2023. Malaika was earlier in a relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor but reports say that the duo have now broken up.
