In the video, the boy and the girl are arguing, the boy says, “What kind of girl are you, don’t you feel ashamed?” The girl responds, “I don’t feel ashamed and today I will finish it, you record it, and I have to slap you.” The argument between the two escalates and the boy angrily says, “Hit me, hit me”, then the girl slaps him thrice abuses him, and breaks up with him.

The video is going viral on social media. Some people see this step as women’s empowerment, while some are calling it violent and wrong. Although the full reason for the dispute between the two is a mystery, the information received through the video is not enough to blame anyone and make others look bad.

The real meaning of empowerment is to make the right decision by controlling your emotions, which is ideal for yourself and society. However, after watching the video, people have raised the question of whether slapping someone or committing physical violence is a part of women’s empowerment.

The viral video has been shared by shonekapoor on Twitter and the caption reads, “She hits him in self-defense. She knows she can do that even if it was recorded.” After watching the viral video, users shared many types of reactions.

A user wrote, “Both are in frustration. Simply, you are destroying your happy relationship. If one person is full of anger, another person should stay silent, which is a better way to maintain a balanced life!”

Another user writes, “The jury will still believe that she acted in self-defense and that she reasonably felt her life was in danger as the man’s phone resembles the revolver.”
