Meet Preet Singh Sirohi who is fighting along against illegal Dargah, Mosque construction in Delhi

The issue of illegal construction in Delhi has increased rapidly. Especially the construction of illegal dargahs and mosques in the name of religious places is becoming a serious issue. In this regard, the name of Preet Singh Sirohi of Delhi comes to the fore, who is fighting a lonely battle against these illegal constructions.

Preet Singh Sirohi belongs to a Jaat farmer family. Preet Sirohi is working against illegally constructed mosques, dargahs, and graveyards in Delhi. 2000+ illegal buildings have been identified in Delhi and its surrounding areas. His only aim is to take action against all illegal buildings.

How this mission started

In 2014, Sirohi saved a cow from being slaughtered and afterward made it a life mission. Preet Singh Sirohi has pledged that he will not cut his hair as long as the cow eats plastic in the country. He was attracted to cow service and Hindutva since his school days. His grandfather often told him stories of the cruelty of the Mughals and Islamic invaders, he used to listen to stories of Maharaja Surajmal. These stories influenced him and he started working for Hindutva.

Sirohi claims that these buildings have been built by occupying government land, and there is no government permission for them in many places. Farmers had given their land for the development of Delhi. After this, houses were built on this land and given to Muslims living in slums, this was done for their rehabilitation. But they started building illegal mosques and dargahs here.

Preet Sirohi says that he will get these illegal buildings vacated. He will try to build schools and hospitals on these vacated lands. He is alone in this fight, he often gets threats, and he gets calls from other countries’ numbers, but his courage becomes stronger. Preet Sirohi says that he will intensify his action in the coming 18 months.

Due to this resolution of Preet Sirohi, his family members also have to face problems. He was targeted for raising his voice for Hindus. Preet Sirohi says that when he raised his voice for Hindus, his entire family was implicated. Fake case FIRs were registered against his family.
