Anand Mahindra has reacted to a vegetable vendor’s emotional outburst after her son braved the challenges and came through with flying colours by passing the Chartered Accountant (CA) examination.

The son made his mother happy and meanwhile, Anand Mahindra shared a 47-second viral video. The caption of the post reads, “This just made my day…”

According to media reports, a young man named Yogesh, the son of a vegetable seller in Thane’s Dombivli (East), has recently passed his CA exams. In a now-viral video, Yogesh is seen sharing the joyful news with his mother at her vegetable stall. Overcome with emotion, she embraces him tightly, tears streaming down her face as she celebrates his achievement.

Ravindra Chavan, Maharashtra’s Public Works Minister, was among the first to share the video online, writing, “Proud of you, Yogesh,” in his post. He also mentioned that Yogesh is the nephew of Thombare Mavashi, who sells vegetables near the Girnar Mithai Shop in Gandhinagar, Dombivli East.

Chavan further added, “Through sheer determination and hard work, Yogesh has triumphed over challenging circumstances. The tears of joy shed by his aunt are priceless.”

When the Chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra shared the post on X (formerly Twitter), it sparked a wave of reactions from netizens. One user urged, “Hire him. Set an example, Sir!” while another joked, “A Thar is on its way.”

Some users even speculated about a potential movie on the story, with one commenting, “How long before Bollywood turns this into a film?” and another saying, “This is what happens when hope becomes reality!”
