BJP leader allegedly rapes a 13 year old girl, arrested

Almora, Uttarakhand: Serious allegations have been leveled against the Almora Mandal President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), creating a stir in the district. The Mandal President is accused of molesting a minor girl, after which he has been removed from all the posts of the party and the police have arrested him.

Bhagwat Bora is accused of molesting a girl who had gone to graze goats in the forest. The BJP leader took her away by giving her a toffee and committed the crime. In this case, an FIR has been registered against Bhagwat Bora under molestation and POCSO Act. The police arrested him in this case late on Saturday night. Earlier, the BJP Mandal President accused of molesting the teenager was expelled by the party.

A woman had accused BJP Mandal President Bhagwat Bora of molesting her daughter. It is alleged that on August 24, the accused lured the teenager and took her away from the village. The accused molested her there. BJP District President Ranikhet Leela Bisht said that Mandal President Bhagwat Bora has been charged with molesting a minor. Till the court does not acquit him, he has been removed from the post of Mandal President.

Politics has heated up over the molestation case of a minor girl in U.K. State Congress President Karan Mahara has reacted strongly after the name of the BJP leader came to the fore in the molestation case. He alleged that atrocities on women are increasing continuously under the BJP rule.

According to other sources, there has also been a reaction from the BJP in the Salt minor molestation case. State BJP President Mahendra Bhatt has termed the incident of molestation of the teenager as very unfortunate. Expressing grief over the incident, he said that the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is working on a zero tolerance policy towards crime.

Strictest action is being taken against the accused in this case. Injustice done to Matri Shakti will not be tolerated at any cost. He said that as far as the organization’s side is concerned, the accused has been dismissed from all the posts of the party with immediate effect. He requested all parties, including opposition leaders, to be patient in the matter.
